Non-stick cookware can be used to reduce the need for cooking oil. To keep valuable nutrients, microwave or steam your vegetables instead of boiling them.

People fired from work because of economy crisis act up differently. Here is a short joke on this topic (although there are few reasons for fun).

New off-road route to traverse the borders

One new off-road route is being built at Deep Ocean Park in our valley.

Actually it is a part of a big bid to to make one of Europe’s top mountain biking destinations.the This will be the first purpose-built mountain bike trail to traverse the borders between several countries.

There are also a less challenging shirt “blue” routes for kids. We are doing okay despite all the rainfall, which adds to the difficulty of enjoying such a remote spot.

Although we have the schema carefully mapped out, we can tweak it on the ground to include features like berms and turns that work well.

Snow flurries throughout the night

In central regions a heavy, wet snow snapped trees. Which fell across tracks. The most affected regions included the areas around the northern pass. Hikers moving between valleys south of Main Peak were forced to take buses when rail service there was interrupted around 7am. Broken branches and trees blocked roads.

In the case of the opinion-altering Australian wines now landing in EU, though, I enjoy bringing my thinking up to date. As for me by the way a glass of wine after a workout in a gym or in a park is a good habbit.

The ocean of imports never became a range of head turners like the top wines we are seeing now. Some are even overpriced but have long been on the wrong side of my itineraire from work to my apartment. The idea is that if an overlooked winery, region, or grape variety can produce one phenomenal wine, then the question becomes ‘”Why not do it all the time?”

I really find it amazing that two of my only hobbies - wine and hiking - can be geografically so close at one time. So, let’s travel and enjoy both one after another. Cheers! To health!

Eat, sleep and dream on your motorbike

The number of motorbikes continues to rise in the world. There are now nearly 20 million of them, according to the World Bank.

To many peoples a motorbike is not just a vehicle. A magic carpet. A jet pack. Which propels from their living rooms to any doorstep. Legs and feet are forms of transport, used only as a last resort.

In Asia packs of motors swarm through the streets. Parked on the sidewalks. Weaving and honking, dodging and turning.

The weather is OK to be there eventually.

Up to 150 stores in TOWER: Developers of the tallest building in town - a twisting tower in regional capital - discover if they have crossed final hurdles before proceeding with their record-breaking plan. The city’s planning board last week endorsed a plan for the multistorey building. This week the plan goes before the city’s zoning committee and if that gives the green light, the full council is due to vote next month. “This is a wonderful project, and everyone is very enthused,” a spokeswoman for the city’s planning department said.

Dousing your yacht with water in bright sunlight can be ruinously bad for its finish. First, the sun heats up the metal to the point it’s scalding hot to the touch. Then, you add some nice tepid tap water — which is immediately boiled off the finish, along with caustic soap and whatever grime you didn’t clear off — while any remaining rivulets of moisture act like a magnifying glass, amping-up the power of the sun’s murderous rays.
